Family Advocate Survey Highlights

What a success! The first Colorado Family Advocate Survey recently closed - over 420 adults participated from all over Colorado, ranging in age from 19-96. Results are being analyzed now, so stay tuned for the full survey report available this summer! But in the meantime – here are a few highlights:

The majority of respondents:

  1. WANT to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the sexual health of Colorado youth (a.k.a advocate for youth sexual health)
  2. WANT to become an adult that young people see as approachable and open to questions (a.k.a. an “askable” adult)
  3. EXPECT that Colorado Public Schools teach comprehensive sex education

We have a great opportunity in front of us to engage with the many Colorado adults who clearly support youth and families receiving access to comprehensive sexual health education, resources and services at school and at home. Get ready to start planning our collective next steps!
