Give your time to help CYM get the word out! 

To continue with statewide community outreach and to further its mission to promote the healthy sexual development of all young people, Colorado Youth Matter needs volunteers who want to take action and collaborate with like-minded people. 

During 2017, CYM's volunteer committee plans to send volunteer representatives to local events to staff a CYM table, attend networking events, and be CYM ambassadors to raise general awareness about the organization and its mission.

CYM hopes to also onboard some citizen lobbyists to help bring awareness to issues at the Capitol this coming legislative session.

Volunteers with interest in video production and/or editing can also get involved with CYM's effort to incorporate high quality videos into its communications. Volunteers will be given an orientation and must complete a training in order to effectively represent the organization and its programs.

CYM will also be undertaking a research project to understand the current state of sex education in all Colorado schools. This will require an ongoing volunteer commitment to be involved with the program until completion - approximately 12 months.
