Center on Training and Professional Development

Training and professional development is often the cornerstone to creating a staff that is informed, confident and feels supported. At Colorado Youth Matter we are committed to helping direct services providers, interested community members and anyone else concerned with adolescent sexual health find the resources they need to advance the well-being of youth and their families across Colorado.

Quality training helps to ensure that service providers are not only knowledgeable about key subject matter in this field, but also that they are equipped to implement programming in ways that they will be effective in promoting the health of the youth in their communities.

Training and professional development can be delivered in a variety of settings and via many mediums. Colorado Youth Matter works to provide learning opportunities in ways that best meet the needs of Coloradoans. We understand that there are many well-respected organizations working to advance these efforts. As an organization that promotes collaboration at all levels, we will do our best not to overlap services and to refer interested parties to quality trainings and development opportunities provided by other groups.
