Colorado Youth Matter has been a resource for professionals for over two decades and knows that professionals working in adolescent sexual health and with pregnant/parenting teens need access to current and reliable sources of information.  We are committed to giving service providers in Colorado the tools they need to effectively engage youth and their families in sexuality education and in supporting teen parents to raise healthy children.

We understand that with so many resources out there it can be difficult to find quality information and advice; therefore, we have worked to compile the most reliable and up-to-date information on effective programming and approaches to sexuality education and supporting teen parents.

As an organization that firmly believes that through teamwork we can reach more youth and their families, we promote collaboration among agencies at all levels. Therefore, we will work to provide all the information we can and may often connect you with other experts in the field.

Colorado Youth Matter works to give professionals the support they need in a variety of ways. We can provide you with the following types and levels of service:

  • Connection to other local and national resources on best practices and effective programming
  • Provide information on state and local policies affecting sexuality education and pregnant/parenting teens
  • Information on public health statistics and data
  • Resources on engaging youth and their parents/guardians
  • Trainings on policy, sexuality education subject matter and effective curricula
  • Intensive technical assistance to facilitate the implementation of effective programming for both schools and communities
