Director of Community Programs
As an undergraduate, Holly Ponton studied International Relations and Marketing with a focus on public health and human rights at James Madison University. She first began advocating for youth sexual health in Washington DC where she interned for a non-profit dedicated to promoting youth sexual health initiatives through public policy. For three years, Holly worked in the field of international business, providing opportunities for youth to travel to countries around the world to participate in socially sustainable volunteer projects. She recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. During her time at the University of Denver, she interned at Colorado Youth Matter where she continued to develop her passion for improving access to healthcare and sexual health education for all youth. This experience inspired her to enter the role of Capacity Building Manager at Colorado Youth Matter. Holly has recently transitioned into the role of Director of Community Programs.
Holly is certified in the Playground to Prom curriculum.
